G'day, I'm william.

Joking, obviously.

Check below to see if we're a good fit. Chances are that if I've sent this to you, I already think we can get along and provide your clients with the great service they hired you for. I've got your back.

OLYMPUS Professional

Olympus cameras and lenses are my equipment of choice. They're small and light but super powerful. Here's what I use:

  1. Olympus OMD E-M1 mark 2
  2. Olympus OMD E-M5 mark 2

Capable of extremely fast shutter speeds and frame rates, outstanding autofocus, great battery life, and excellent image quality. Check my gallery if you need further proof, I challenge you to guess which images were taken with Medium Format, Full-Frame, or M4/3.

Heck, I can't even tell and I took the photos, haha!

Many people get stuck in the mindset of "full frame = professional" but really they're only admitting they've fallen victim to the marketing of some giant brands that sell outdated technology to people who don't know any better.

My Stable of lenses:

Here are my pro lenses. Primes first, then zooms.

  • 50mm f1.2
  • 90mm f1.2
  • 150mm f1.8
  • 14-28mm f2.8
  • 80-300mm f2.8

Quick FAQ

You're a portrait artist, why should I choose you!?

Great question - let's address 2 issues in 1. Photographers are often plonked into categories, like lenses. But in reality, these are just false labels that people use off-hand without considering what that really means. I'm sure you've shot portraits with a "landscape" lens and landscapes with a "portrait" lens. See what I mean?

I work with people. Whether it's one-on-one in a studio, or in groups, people are people. I've shot charity events that lasted 6+ hours, with raving crowds and the craziest lighting scenarios you can imagine. I can direct kids and adults to get a great portrait, or let them loose and wait for the decisive moment to capture, all while juggling lights and lenses.

Why choose me? Because I've got well-rounded, worldwide experience, I'm a good listener, and I don't panic.

Why do you want to be a second shooter for me?

I'm looking to add elopements and weddings to my bag of tricks. Any experience I can acquire while helping a fellow photographer with their day is a win-win-win.

Your clients win, you win, I win.

What equipment do you use?

I use professional-grade mirrorless equipment with weather-sealed lenses and bodies, and dual card slots. I mainly shoot with primes, but if we're going hard and wild, I have zooms I bring along as well.
